WorkSwipe Community Guidelines

At WorkSwipe, we’re building a professional and inclusive community where job seekers and employers connect through authentic video and profile-based engagement. To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, we’ve outlined the following Community Guidelines that all members of the WorkSwipe community must follow.

Use of WorkSwipe (the platform, app, or any related services) constitutes agreement with these guidelines, in addition to our [Terms of Service] and [Privacy Policy].

What We Expect From Our WorkSwipe Community 

1. No Discrimination or Harassment

WorkSwipe does not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to, content or behaviour targeting someone based on:

  • Race, ethnicity, or nationality

  • Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation

  • Religion or spiritual beliefs

  • Disability or medical condition

  • Age or socioeconomic status

​

Harassment includes repeated unwanted contact, bullying, threats, inappropriate comments, or sharing of personal data without consent.

2. Use Video & Media Respectfully

​

We are a video-first platform, and your video content should reflect professional conduct.

​

Do:

  • Speak clearly and respectfully.

  • Dress appropriately.

  • Use clean, uncluttered backgrounds when possible.

  • Keep videos focused on your skills, experience, and relevant questions.

Do not:

  • Upload sexually suggestive, violent, or offensive content.

  • Use copyrighted media (music, logos, etc.) unless you have rights.

  • Impersonate another person or submit falsified videos.

3. Keep It Professional

​

Whether you’re a job seeker or employer, your conduct on WorkSwipe should align with professional standards. This includes:

​

  • Accurate profile information

  • Respectful communication

  • Transparent job listings or responses

  • Constructive feedback (if applicable)
     

Fake profiles, misleading resumes, or dishonest employer behavior will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

 

 

4. Respect Privacy & Confidentiality

​

  • Never share personal contact information (email, phone numbers, etc.) outside of the platform unless explicitly invited by both parties.

​

  • Do not publish or record user videos or data elsewhere without written consent.

​

  • Respect interview confidentiality and sensitive company information.

​

​

5. Spam, Scams, and Solicitation Are Prohibited

​

WorkSwipe is not a place for:

​

  • Promotional marketing

  • Spam messaging

  • Cryptocurrency or get-rich-quick schemes

  • Recruiting for non-legitimate opportunities

​

If you are found using the platform for any of the above, your account will be removed and reported if necessary.

​

6. Report Inappropriate Behavior

​

If you encounter:

  • Fake accounts

  • Inappropriate videos or messages

  • Discrimination or harassment

  • Misuse of the platform

​

Please report the user or content using the in-app/report feature, or contact us directly at [insert email].

All reports are confidential and reviewed by our moderation team.

7. Consequences for Violations

​

Violating these guidelines may result in:

  • Content removal

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent account termination

  • Reporting to appropriate authorities (if required)

We reserve the right to remove any content or user account that undermines the integrity of the WorkSwipe platform, without prior notice.
